SOME PERSONAL HISTORY
When I was 16 Years old (1971), I build my first electronic ignition system in the time that every car had only a conventional ignition system an a classic carburetor. I was already convinced about the electronic revolution that should happen.
At my 18, I converted already the first D-jetronic analog system to find more power in an engine. Some years later I converted the first L and LE-jetronic systems from BOSCH. Then came the time back of mechanical injections like the K-jetronic systems.
I remember the time the first Motronic system in digital form came out. It had only a one page A4 of hexadecimal program stored in an eprom 2716A . And I started to try understand and find the map of injection, ignition and the revlimiter.
Now a days it has a program that we never printout because it would be a big countless quantity of A4 paperwork.
It was always an obsession to understand the basics of new systems . Therefore I worked several years in a big Bosch concern, where I had to solve all the possible electrical- and electronical problems that could happen on a Bosch system. This were the years that I learned the most about engine managements. Understanding completely the principles of a system, allows You to find very quick the possible problems. But it allows You also to find a way to modify that system to give for example a power gain. Now a days it allows me to design my own system, engine wireloom and components.
It was also the time that I tuned a lot of cars on a rolling road and made my first customers for my own company some years later in 1990.

We can do all necessary modifications on Your original engine management system. Is it now D-, L-, LE-, K-, KE-jetronic, Motronic from BOSCH, even Weber, Siemens, Lucas, Hitachi etc…
For the systems that didn’t allow directly a chiptuning when for example the soft is written directly in the processor we have an additional computer that does the same things as a modified chip, having own fuel- and ignition maps (full throttle, part throttle and idling). It can even manage extra injectors or a one-step variable camshaft and or inlet manifold.
The most interesting ECU we have is an universal system, that can manage every engine atmospheric or charged, 1 or 16 cylinders, two stroke or four stroke, wankel or not and that with all the original sensors of that car. This is for me a very important point in reliability, because original sensors are sufficient tested and are easy to find. As our password is reliability and knowledge, we tested nearly every universal system on the market and without saying bad things about other products, we work already different years with MOTEC. This an extremely powerful 32 bit system, where we didn’t found one inconvenient at all. The results achieved with that system are even for us each time spectacular. Our customers that have that system are completely convinced about the performance and the reliability. They buy one system for many years, because we can update it at every time. That system allow us to make not only the mapping of injection or ignition points, but also a mapping turbo strategy (with anti-lag system), variable inlet manifolds, variable camshaft timing etc….It has a diagnostic system to test all the output functions. It even has a traction control possibility, optional a very powerful data logging system and also an optional self mapping wideband lambda system. That wideband lambda measures the lambda in the exhaust from 0,7 to 1,2 (two points where a normal engine didn’t run anymore because it is to rich or to poor). We make a well defined lambda map, that is dependant of the throttle position or the charged pressure in function of the rpm, and the ECU follow this map in an extreme severe way. These system allow us to pass the severe anti-pollution laws for road cars.
A second extremely interessant MOTEC product is the ADL. This is a powerful dashboard display that is completely universal programmable as the MOTEC ECU’s, even the setup of the display self. It can display all kind of data coming with one wire from the MOTEC ECU( not double sensors as engine temperature necessary) or from even which sensor on the car (temperature-, pressure-, movement-, level-, etc….).
It has also a powerful data logging system and a user-friendly software to interpret that data.

We have two DYNO'S a BOSCH rolling road (until 408 hp) and an engine dyno SUPER FLOW 7400 (until 1000 hp and 12.000 rpm) and a lot of other instruments helping us to map Your engine in the best possible way.
